With OALLEY, you can draw very easily isochrones, isodistances and catchment areas for free. These zones represent how far you can go in a given time or for a given distance. They are often used for market analysis purposes or to study a delivery area.
To draw a time zone, or isochrone, go to the map.
Once you’re on the map, go to the new area creation panel on the upper left to draw your first isochrone:
Select the “Time zone” mode by clicking on the corresponding button:
Then, define the starting point of your zone:
And finally, select the transportation mode and the travel time:
Finish by clicking ont the Compute button. You’ve just drawn your first isochrone!
If you want to add a new zone, click on the Add new area button to unfold the new area creation panel:
If you need to save your map or to share it to other people, you can use the Share button on the lower left panel. This will generate a unique link to your map:
